Playing 10 a-side first up was a match against tough opposition who had a few experienced players in their team. The mixed team of Stornoway/Ross Sutherland running out eventual winners 4 scores to 1.

Having teamed with Turriff in the last set of fixtures we knew playing against Turriff / Moray / Huntly was going to be another hard game. Losing the first half 4 scores to zero the team was tasked with going out and 'winning' the second half. First ever Vixens trys for Sarah Smith and Rosie Ball saw the team take the second half 2 scores to 1 in a much improved performance.

To end the day teams were mixed up to allow a 15 a-side game to finish with, the mixed XV of Highland / Stornoway / Ross Sutherland scored a breakaway try in the first half, in what was a pretty even game. Unfortunately Mackie / Moray / Huntly / Turriff XV didn't get the comeback they looked like they were going to get as the game was ended early due to an injury on the field.
