U18 National Youth Shield Semifinal

U18s had a long trip down to Peebles yesterday. It's always a challenge playing away.

We started well with some very strong carries and moving the ball out wide. Peebles came back strong, scoring from a lineout. We had some excellent individual plays in attack and just needed support as we broke their defence. As the came wore on, we began slipping off tackles, misreading their attack, and letting them through.

This didn't stop the lads from setting up some forward and back plays, which resulted in our player on the match (Calum Mackie) scoring in the corner with Innes converting it. Final score being 60 - 7 to Peebles.

We are proud of the lads as they showed good determination to fight to the end.
