What a great game today, lads. We went out looking to reduce the amount of penalties against us with 2 areas of focus: 1. Stay on side, and
2. Win our own ball (carry and clear). We achieved both these goals!

Forwards: some very, very strong carries followed up by excellent clearing of rucks. This meant Fraser had quick ball to pass to Innes. Every forward played extremely well today.

Backs: There were a lot of quick hands to get the ball wide where most of our tries were scored. Good little grubber kicks through with players chasing. Well done to Innes and Fraser for stepping up in the playmaker roles. Final score was 31 - 10 Mackie.

Player of the match: This was a very hard decision today as the standard across the team was high. Congratulations to Fraser for tackling around the ruck, playing the ball quickly and staying calm.
