After the high of last weeks Cup win at Perth the U16s returned to Redclaok to face top of the league opposition. We fronted up well in the first half and at times looked dangerous in attack showing how much we are progressing as a team. The second half was also very close but the opposition managed to pull away and score a few tries to make the result look worse than it really was; 48-5.
Player of the match - Harry
Harry showed great leadership, selfless attitude and dedication today being his usual busy self on the pitch and keeping us going even when behind our own posts.
Special mentions:
The players who didn’t start the game also deserve a huge thank you as well as they didn’t drop the effort when put on at various stages of the game.
Really impressed with the effort put in today, lots to work on ahead of next weeks game vs Falkirk away.
