A great result today for the U15s. Winning 34-27 vs Currie Chieftains. Initially going down by a try, the team held their nerve to eventually go 24-5 up. Currie then came right back into the game. With it going to 27 all in the last play of the game for captain Rory to charge down the wing to score in the corner.
Special mentions go to:
- Fraser - scoring 4 tries
- Both Sam’s, Freddie and Matthew for never giving up and putting their big runners down
- Seb and Logan for controlling the game really well
- Ethan, Evan and Thomas for some great runs with the ball.
- Charlie, Calum and Duncan for being confident to take the ball into contact and square up the game.
- Ross for putting in a great shift at fullback.
- Man of the match goes to George Botterill for creating great line speed in defence and really applying pressure to Currie.
