It was blue skies and a perfect day for rugby. This was a development game with mixed U13 and U14 teams between Mackie and Ross Sutherland. Mackie got off to a good start with a penalty going up by 3 but the visitors struck back with a try. Mackie then took the lead with two brilliant tries from deep by Brody Earley and Evan Howie and it looked like Mackie was commanding the game well. The visitors did not lay down and scored a brace of tries them self's completing the half 13-17 to Ross Sutherland.

The second half kicked of well for Mackie scoring soon after kick off but the one point lead was short lived as The visitors ran in 5 tries un apposed ending the game 50 - 18 to the visitors. Brody Earley was lend to the visitors on the wing and scored a breath taking second try which also makes him man of the match.

A big thank you to all the players and Ross Sutherland for making it a spectacle.

The biggest thank you should go to all the parents and club volunteers who helped out in the back ground, without you, days like these will not be possible.
