3. Mackie RFC Annual Membership Terms


Annual player registration and membership fees are required to provide player insurance cover as well as facilities for training and games. It is therefore vitally important that each player pays their annual membership fees in a timely manner.

Existing Members

  • Player memberships SHOULD be paid on annual Registration Day. Provisions for payment and Scrums enrolment will be made available during Registration Day.
  • Player memberships MUST be paid within 4 weeks of Registration Day. If payment is not made within 4 weeks then players SHALL NOT be permitted to train or play until payment has been made in full.

New Members

  • New members SHALL be afforded a 2 week ‘trial’ period.
  • Player memberships MUST be paid within 4 weeks after ‘trial’ period. If payment is not made within 4 weeks then players SHALL NOT be permitted to train or play until payment has been made in full.

General Terms

  • Families with more than one playing member SHALL benefit from £10 discount on second and subsequent players.
  • For larger families, discounted family memberships are available on request to Executive Committee.
  • Payment plans (Direct Debits) MAY be agreed with Executive Committee with the understanding that full payment will be completed within 3 months.
  • Payment SHOULD be made by card/bank transfer.
